THE SALAD SQUAD

As part of the new Vhi Healthcare Centre in Carrickmines, a pilot project was launched for the new Paedatric Department to help improve the experience for children. One of the key walls within the dept. has a large illustration and I was asked to create sensory toys inspired by the vegetable characters on it. They will get one of these characters for the duration of their time in Vhi to help ease their anxieties and nerves. The toys had to be durable and up to the standard of infection control.
